This unique full time OB/GYN hybrid role offers the opportunity to split your time between providing comprehensive care in an outpatient clinic setting and functioning as a vital member of our OB Hospitalist team. You will develop meaningful relationships with patients in the clinic, while also managing deliveries, emergencies, and complex cases in our Birth Place as part of the care team with our 24/7 midwifery program.
Responsibilities
- Clinic:
- Conduct comprehensive prenatal care, including wellness exams, preconception counseling, and management of high-risk pregnancies (in collaboration with MFM, if needed).
- Provide a wide range of gynecological services, including annual exams, contraception counseling, and management of menstrual disorders.
- Build rapport and trust with patients, fostering a comfortable and supportive environment.
- Perform minor in-office procedures
- Hospital:
- Manage laboring patients in our Birth Place
- Respond to GYN and obstetric emergencies and provide care for high-risk deliveries.
- Perform GYN surgeries in our well-equipped OR or ASC.
- Collaborate with nurses, midwives, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- 24/7 midwifery coverage/support
- Participate in labor and delivery unit protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR preferred
- Open to new/recent graduates
- Excellent clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiasm for both outpatient and inpatient care
