Applications are invited for Clinical Fellow posts in Neurocritical Care (Intensive Care) at The National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London, for a 6-month period, that can be extended to a year or more. We have ten posts available that will commence 6th August 2025. Interviews will take place early April 2025. The successful applicants will work under consultant supervision at a level best matched to their learning needs and experience.
Applicants must be eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment and hold a current licence to practise. This post is full-time and is covered by the Medical and Dental Staff Terms and Conditions of Service.
The posts would be suited to anyone wishing to experience intensive care medicine in a nurturing environment with a view to improving their curriculum vitae with the aim of applying for core training in intensive care medicine, emergency medicine, acute medicine, neurology or neurosurgery. Despite being a neurosciences intensive care unit, many of the principles of intensive care medicine remain the same as for a general ICU. The posts are also suitable for those wanting to further their experience of neurocritical care for specialist training.
