HealthTech for Medicaid (HT4M) is dedicated to advancing Medicaid innovation to improve quality, equity, and access to care for Medicaid recipients, their families, and communities. We are a mission-driven market enabler, facilitating cross-sectoral, collaborative partnerships nationwide in health technology. HT4M accelerates Medicaid innovation through program service delivery, infrastructure development, and policy advocacy.

We are currently seeking passionate and driven fellows to join us for Spring 2025. This fellowship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of areas including research, policy, community engagement, social media, and more. The fellowship is unpaid, but provides fellows the chance to dive deep into Medicaid and health tech equity while contributing to impactful projects that drive real change.

Responsibilities:

Contribute to meaningful projects in areas such as research, policy, community engagement, social media, and more
Conduct in-depth research on Medicaid-related topics, providing insights into trends, challenges, and opportunities
Assist with developing and implementing programming strategies, social media agendas, and stakeholder engagement plans
Assist with the creation and promotion of social campaigns, event coordination, and content creation
Stay informed on the latest Medicaid-related news, policies, and trends

Fellowship Focus Areas:

Research: Conduct research and contribute to HT4M’s comprehensive landscape report database on Medicaid topics such as reproductive health, behavioral health, data equity, clinical research, post-acute care, and more.
Policy: Assist in shaping the future of healthcare by analyzing legislative proposals, advocating for policy changes, and supporting key stakeholder engagement for policy advocacy.
Community Engagement: Support initiatives that contribute to HT4M’s community, including the development of an underrepresented founders database and building stakeholder relationships to drive health equity.
Social Media & Marketing: Gain hands-on experience by managing media campaigns, assisting in event promotion, and designing content for HT4M programming and initiatives.

Qualifications:

Able to dedicate at least 15 hours per week
Current student or post-graduate seeking hands-on experience in driving healthcare innovation
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects
Interest in Medicaid, public health, and/or health technology is a plus
