Boehunter is proudly partnering with one of our Key Client’s to recruit for a rare and exciting WA/SA Hospital Account/Commercial Manager opportunity. Our client is a very successful and growing global organisation advancing their footprint in Australia through launching a strong and impressive pipeline of niche specialty products into the Hospital environment.
This role is a highly visible position in a small and entrepreneurial team and requires a hands-on as well as strategic approach. The successful candidate will have an influence in shaping the overall commercial strategy with the potential to progress with the company as they expand their regional operations in ANZ. The position will be responsible for WA/SA.
Job purpose:
- Represent the company and promote the launch of its products.
- Engage with healthcare professionals and customers to promote the key clinical and commercial benefits of launch products.
- Develop new and maintain key customer relationships within each defined account and provide strong support to the general business across a defined geographical area.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Establish & manage public & private hospitals and identify opportunities to assist in the delivery of product objectives to drive & grow the hospital business.
- Support the achievement of Commercial Division Goals by providing commercial and clinical support.
- Achieving or exceeding the sales targets for any new launch product/s, as designated by the Company by developing and executing sales and marketing strategies and conducting sales calls to Key Specialists, Tender Groups, Directors of Pharmacy, Procurement Leads and associated key decision makers primarily within the Critical Care and Specialty arenas.
- Initiate, develop and maintain relationships with key customers and healthcare professionals to ensure that the use of the Company’s products is well supported.
- Actively monitor market trends through regular engagement with customers and healthcare professionals and attending scientific meetings and seminars.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Degree Qualification (Science or Business, or similar).
- Ideally 2+ years commercial/sales experience, within the Hospital channel.
- Strong commercial acumen, able to identify customer trends and quickly work towards action plans in a very dynamic landscape.
- Working knowledge of and familiarity with the hospital pharmacy and procurement environment.
- Prior experience or training in healthcare professional engagement
- Key Account Management experience.
