Applications are invited for a 10 PA Locum Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to cover maternity leave.
This post offers an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, to work within an established team of 32 Consultants at the Trust.
The role is cross-site across the 2 sites of Epsom and St Helier Hospitals. The on-call commitments for obstetrics will be at the Epsom site with a 1:3 cover.
Main duties of the job
The role is multi-site for all activities, except acute obstetric on-calls which will be based at Epsom General Hospital, although there will also be requirements to work at St Helier Hospital. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the supporting colposcopy, TWR clinics and acute gynaecology cover. In addition, they will provide consultant led Labour Ward.

It comprises one acute hospital in Carshalton and a District General Hospital in Epsom, a dedicated children's hospital, Elective Orthopaedic Centre and a private patient unit and provides services from a number of support hospitals.
