About The Position
We are looking for an e-commerce accountant with CPA to join our team and take ownership of managing monthly financial closings and providing US GAAP-compliant bookkeeping. The ideal candidate is experienced in QuickBooks Online (QBO), e-commerce financial operations with Shopify/A2X, and financial reconciliation and reporting.

Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping, day-to-day accounting tasks, including reconciling Shopify sales through tools like A2X into QuickBooks Online.
- Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateway transactions (such as PayPal), and inventory.
- Coordinate with international accounting team on inventory management and transfer pricing.
- Prepare, review, and deliver US GAAP-compliant financial statements on time.
- Conduct monthly and year-end closings, ensuring accurate reporting of financial data.
- Perform self-reviews for accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
- Review company books for tax planning opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, CPA is required.
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce financial operation with Shopify.
- Experience with QuickBooks.
- Experience in e-commerce bookkeeping.
- Excellent communication skills to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
