We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Regional Vice President to oversee the P&L performance of our defined region. As a key member of the leadership team, you will collaborate closely with senior executives, corporate teams, and clinic leaders to drive business growth, enhance patient care, and maintain regulatory compliance.
What this role entails:
The Regional Vice President (RVP) is responsible for the overall performance, growth, and operational success of multiple markets. Reporting to the EVP/SVP, the RVP will lead regional operations, ensuring the achievement of revenue, profit, patient experience, and operational efficiency goals. This position requires a dynamic leader who can foster collaboration across departments, lead strategic initiatives, and ensure a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement business plans to achieve short- and long-term goals, focusing on patient experience, revenue growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.
- Market Strategy: Formulate and execute strategies to create a competitive advantage in local markets.
- Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with physicians, employees, community stakeholders, and company leadership.
- Patient Experience: Continuously enhance patient care and clinical outcomes by improving patient experience metrics, including laboratory data, Medallia, Rater 8, and more.
- Regional Operations: Oversee clinic and lab performance, ensuring accountability to budget guidelines, service decisions, and standardization initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration to create a positive, motivating workplace for staff.
- Talent Management: Participate in recruiting, selecting, and training physicians and leadership staff. Ensure resources are available for ongoing staff training.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including Revenue Cycle, Clinical, Marketing, HR, Accounting, and IT to ensure alignment and efficient operations.
- Governance & Compliance: Lead physician and management governance meetings. Ensure regulatory compliance and industry best practices across all operations.
- Problem Solving: Resolve issues related to physicians, patients, and clinic leadership, maintaining a high level of service and operational efficiency.
- Marketing & Community Engagement: Support the establishment and achievement of marketing objectives within the region, building relationships with patients, referring practices, and local businesses.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a leader in healthcare management, with strong P&L responsibility.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing business strategies to drive growth and operational success.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on collaboration, team development, and employee engagement.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
- Ability to analyze financial reports and operational metrics to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with clinic operations and strategic planning is highly preferred.
- A passion for improving patient care and driving operational excellence.
Key factors to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of leadership or management experience in a healthcare office is required.
- Proven track record in increasing clinic volume, quality, patient/employee experience and revenue.
- Must be fully competent in the areas of understanding insurance benefits and communicate patient responsibilities, general knowledge of clinical policies, expense management and Human Resources issues.
- Must have working knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance policies (i.e., HIPAA, OSHA, FDA).
