JOB SUMMARY: The Certified Nurse-Midwife is responsible for implementing health center policies and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction while caring for a diverse population. They collaborate with the team to improve processes and adhere to organizational goals.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with patient safety and midwife practice standards.
- Participate in quality improvement activities.
- Conduct assessments and provide comprehensive gynecologic and prenatal care.
- Utilize resources effectively to maintain quality care.
- Commit to ongoing education and support learning for students and residents.
Education And Experience
- Master's Degree with American Midwifery Certification or Women's Health Nurse Practitioner certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of midwifery experience.
