About the Role: Corporate Paralegal
We are looking for a dedicated Corporate Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team of four professionals. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a collaborative environment that bridges key departments, such as legal and finance, while engaging with external partners, including law firms, notaries, and public authorities.
In this multifaceted role that offers both responsibility and exposure, you’ll oversee corporate law administrative activities, and act as a key contact for both internal and external stakeholders, and manage the status of the Vitrolife Group's ongoing litigation cases. You’ll play a critical part in ensuring compliance, supporting organizational efficiency, and driving excellence across our legal function. With frequent interactions across teams and direct involvement in strategic projects, this position promises variety, growth, and the chance to make an impactful contribution.
- We follow a hybrid work model, which requires employees to come to the Valencia office on a regular basis.
Responsabilities
- Coordination and management of corporate secretarial services for all the Vitrolife Group entities based on EMEIA and APAC.
- Management of public deeds and communication with notaries and their officers, ensuring registration of the different instruments of all the Vitrolife Group entities based on EMEIA and APAC.
- Support filling KYC forms.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, such as NDAs.
- Filing and managing an archive of legal documentation and setting up an accessible data room. Maintain updated, accurate and organized files and databases.
- Monitor key contract deadlines and milestones, ensuring timely renewals, amendments, and notifications.
- Presentation and processing of telematic legalizations of corporate books, filing of administrative appeals and other writings addressed to public administrations. Coordinate those activities with local teams abroad.
- Performing other administrative and management duties related to the practice of law (i.e. such as scanning of deeds, handling of translations for the legal department, signature processes).
- Support in researching and analyzing legal legislation, by communicating any relevant update to the legal line manager (as appropriate).
- Supporting the legal team in the preparation of reports and presentations, as well as, participating in meetings when needed.
What You Need To Succeed
- Relevant education (vocational or college degree) in the field: Law, Information, Documentation, Administration
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience as a paralegal or legal administrative, ideally within a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Experience with Spanish legal system.
- Exceptional written communications and oral skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Languages: English is a must, fluent in oral and written. Our day-to-day work is performed in English.
- Ability to work across cultures and with different geographies.
- Status to work in the European Union.
