An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, dynamic and committed individual to join our clinical education team. We are looking to appoint a Clinical Education Practitioner who is an experienced registered nurse, midwife or AHP with experience of teaching who wants to help make a difference in the development and support of our clinical workforce. You will work as part of a team to support the development of evidenced-based clinical education and competence in line with within national, local and Trust policy and support staff in their transition to working within the NHS and within this Trust.
- Contributing to the delivery of core clinical educational programmes including clinical induction programmes
- Taking a lead in the planning and delivery of clinical skills teaching programmes
- Support, coaching and assessment in the workplace for clinical team members
- Supporting the delivery of the Care Certificate programme and supporting new care assistants in their introduction to the organisation
- Supporting International Nurse recruits through the process of transitioning to working in an NHS environment and obtaining NMC registration.
- Working alongside project teams and specialists to provide tailored educational support to clinical teams as part of quality improvement and organisational change initiatives.
- Supporting the Practice Education Lead and Clinical Skills Lead to develop new ways of delivering clinical education and assessment across the organisation.
