Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking registered nurse to join our exciting research team within the Division of Medicine and Integrated Care. You will join a sub team of research nurses and practitioners who are currently supporting a multitude of medical research portfolios within several specialties, including Respiratory, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Dermatology, Rheumatology, Dementia and Endocrine studies. The role will involve providing support for studies at three of the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust sites, but will be primarily based at Hammersmith Hospital.
You will assist and coordinate multiple studies, set up studies, actively screen and recruit participants into clinical trials and collect data for these studies.
Interview date is planned for either 4th or 5th March 2025.
Main duties of the job
- To support the research teams in the facilitation of efficient, safe and participant focused research
- To contribute to the recruitment of the local portfolio of clinical research studies
- To demonstrate an understanding of the life cycle of a research project from inception to study close out supporting all clinical protocol related task
- To work with the clinical team to screen, identify and recruit patients suitable for entry into clinical trials having understanding of the clinical patient pathway
