1 Year Fixed Term based at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHT).
We are looking to recruit Obstetrics & Gynaecology Undergraduate Clinical Teaching Fellows who will work as part of our integrated multi professional team and will focus on enhancing undergraduate education within the Trust. These posts will provide an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop themselves as an educator.
You will join dynamic and friendly teams and will be the point of contact for medical students who are on clinical placements at the Trust. You will teach the students directly, and also coordinate and arrange a diversity of medical education sessions. Cross-site working to provide teaching support to different specialties across our various sites will be required.
These posts are open to trainees above the grade of FY2 in any grade/specialty.
These are full time roles, starting August 2025.
The post holder will be expected to deliver Obstetric and Gynaecological teaching to our Undergraduates:
- Deliver required teaching sessions for the post
- Produce, coordinate and evaluate students timetables
- Anatomy demonstrating
- Attend weekly team meetings
- Participate in examination skills, clinical skills, simulation training and bedside teaching
- Work with UG Team to organise and ensure smooth running of OSCE and PACES
- Contribute to educational development
- Promote educational research
- Provide welfare support for students
- Design and implement projects to develop new learning opportunities
- Support other specialties with undergraduate medical education teaching if required
