An exciting opportunity has opened up to develop in-depth experience of managing the deployment of medical staffing to support the correct functions cross the Paediatric, Neonatal, Obstetric and Gynaecology Services.
The post holder will provide the necessary support to the Directorate Management Team to help ensure an effective service will be provided to the clinical teams. This position can be demanding and will require attention to detail and the ability to communicate with internal/external bodies at all levels. You will be supporting the Directorate Management Team and will play a key part in the delivery of safe clinical services.

You will be working within the Integrated Care Division and play a key role in supporting the rota coordinating team across the other specialities within the Care Organisation.
You will be supporting the Directorate Management Team and will play a key part in the delivery of safe clinical services., The post holder will be responsible for ensuring all medical rotas are co-ordinated effectively for the designated speciality, deploying junior medical staff as required to maintain service cover. Specifically:
Supporting medical job planning, rota design and workforce planning.
Supporting improved productivity for the directorate.
Responsible for the administrative induction of new and temporary clinical staff.
Responsible for compiling and maintaining an up-to-date speciality induction pack.
Co-ordinating the attendance of junior medical staff (recording of absence and documentation of return-to-work interviews)
Maintaining compliant and efficient medical rotas for all levels of medical staff in the designated speciality.
Facilitation of rota monitoring.
Responsible for the co-ordination of leave for all medical staff in the designated speciality.
Co-ordinating and administrating junior doctor induction days.
