About The Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the
Allied Health (AH) team as a
Senior Orthotist/Prosthetist where you will be responsible for:
- Providing highly skilled clinical Prosthetic/Orthotic services across WCHN, to maximise outcomes for clients.
- Ensure high standards of care in speciality care is provided to clients throughout WCHN.
- Providing assessment and best prosthetic/orthotic intervention, formulate treatment objectives and treatment plans for clients with complex pathologies.
- Maintaining close liaison with community organisations and health providers involved in related issues and service delivery.
- Provide a consultancy service within the department and to other health professionals within WCHN and other external agencies on assessment, delivery, and long-term management of clients in area of expertise.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification of Orthotists and Prosthetists.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure the provision and promotion of high quality, efficient and effective Prosthetic and Orthotic Services.
- Experience in clinical leadership including service development and evaluation and quality management activities.
- Ability to work under pressure and to demonstrate effective time management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
