An opportunity is now available for AIN's to join the NBMLHD Lithgow Hospital Team in a casual position.
As an AIN your role will provide support to the nursing team in an acute care environment as directed by the Registered Nurse/Midwife as well as provide direct care activities to patients in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife.
This position will see you assist Registered Nurse/Midwives and Enrolled Nurses with patient care interventions as directed and within the scope of practice and contribute to collecting accurate health care information and maintaining accurate health care documentation as required.
Working with the dedicated team at Lithgow Hospital will allow you to meet the needs of staff, patients and their families whilst working in a diverse team demonstrating CORE values whilst providing exceptional person-centered care.

What You Will Bring To The Role
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Descriptor: Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care)
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide a person centred approach to patient care
- Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
- Previous recent experience working in an acute care setting
- Demonstrated evidence of complying with Immunisation category A
- Ability to work a rotating roster across 7 days week (morning, evening & night shifts)
