This is an excellent opportunity for one Consultant Obstetricians to join the existing team of 11 Obstetricians.
It is essential that the post-holder should hold the MRCOG (UK) or an equivalent qualification and be on the GMC specialist register or will obtain a relevant CCT/CESR(CP) within 6 months of interview.
The department is looking for a dynamic and energetic Obstetrician with a passion for Medical Education and interested in the RCOG College Tutor Role to oversee the provision of Post Graduate Training according to RCOG Training Curriculum. The department currently has a College Tutor in post. This role is an expansion to the current team and will require working closely with the existing College Tutor. The details of the roles and responsibilities for College Tutor can be found on the RCOG website.
The successful candidate will work clinically as a full time Obstetrician and will be the link person between both Obstetrics and Gynaecology services to foster a positive educational environment for learning.
