Duties
The Certified Nurse-Midwife is responsible for implementing the health center's philosophy, goals, and policies while ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. Key duties include:
- Adhering to midwife practice standards and participating in quality improvement activities.
- Performing assessments and evaluations to enhance care for obstetric and gynecologic patients.
- Providing comprehensive gynecologic care, health education, screenings, immunizations, and prenatal care.
- Maintaining educational competencies and fostering a supportive learning environment for students and residents.
Qualifications include a Master's Degree, American Midwifery Certification, and 5 years of midwifery experience.
