The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) is the leading standards body responsible for the training and education of specialists and GP obstetricians in obstetrics and gynaecology in Australia and New Zealand.

Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day maintenance of RANZCOG buildings and office environments in accordance with legislative and OH&S requirements.
- Coordination of contractors to ensure facilities are functioning and well maintained, observing regular services (electrical, mechanical, fire services, plumbing, etc.) for Hard Services/Scheduled Maintenance.
- Coordination and oversight of inspections, checks, and testing of equipment necessary to ensure that the building's equipment is in proper working order and complies with the requirements of the equipment manual.
- Management of security systems, equipment, and access for staff, members, contractors, and visitors.
- Management of maintenance and service contracts, negotiating favourable pricing and service level agreements.
- Development and maintenance of facilities and relevant OH&S policies and procedures.
- Providing support for core College activities through room setups and pack-downs, as well as the relocation of equipment and furniture.
- General office tidying, including gardening, indoor plant maintenance, and maintaining general office areas such as kitchens and meal areas.
- Supporting onsite College events as required.
Skills and Experiences:
Ko wai koe | About you - Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in building management and/or maintenance is highly desirable.
- A trade qualification would be advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of building services/operations with a focus on compliance.
- Experience in coordinating contractors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound administrative skills, particularly with respect to accuracy and attention to detail.
- IT proficiency, including familiarity with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- A can-do, positive, and flexible approach to work.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
As an ideal candidate you will have completed:
- Certificate IV in Building and Construction or a similar qualification.
- First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Emergency Warden Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Test and Tag Certification (or willingness to obtain).
