QEII Hospital, Endoscopy Unit are looking for an Enrolled Nurse Advances Skills (ENAS) to join their team. Join the purpose-built Endoscopy Unit, a multidisciplinary service offering diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, gastroenterology outpatient care, Pillcam procedures, and infusions. In this role, you will use your advanced clinical expertise to deliver high-quality, evidence-based, person-centred care under the indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role provides an opportunity to combine clinical and leadership skills to optimize patient outcomes and contribute to excellence in care within this unit.

About The Role
- Accountable for Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and own standards, actions, and the outcomes of own nursing/ midwifery practice and supervision of Assistant in Nursing (AIN) as required.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for patients/residents/clients and visitors utilising a contemporary quality and risk management framework including escalation of care and concerns as required.
- Demonstrate a commitment to increase knowledge, skills, and competencies through contributing to quality healthcare and educating and supporting less experienced staff through lifelong learning and professional development of self and others.
- Participate with other members of the team in providing support, orientation, and mentorship to the healthcare team, including new and less experienced staff.
