We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (Women’s Health) to deliver exceptional healthcare services to our Military Service Members and their families at Buckley SFB in Aurora, CO.
Job Overview
As a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Women’s Health, you will provide comprehensive, outcome-oriented healthcare services while adhering to established protocols and guidelines. Your role is crucial in promoting preventive care and fostering health maintenance within our patient community.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a broad spectrum of nurse practitioner services tailored to patients’ needs, supervising and conducting routine, acute, and chronic medical examinations.
- Educate and guide fellow staff through evidence-based training sessions and lectures.
- Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic conditions, ensuring adherence to clinical practice guidelines.
- Advocate for preventive health measures through educational initiatives and personalized counseling.
- Collaborate effectively with a diverse healthcare team to enhance patient care and education.
- Implement universal precautions in all patient interactions and recognize conditions requiring isolation.
- Engage in staff meetings focused on case discussions, continuous quality improvement, and safety training.
Required Skills
- Strong clinical expertise in women’s health.
- Proficiency in women’s health specialty procedures, including IUD and Nexplanon insertion/removal, and Colposcopies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to collaborative patient care.
- Ability to educate and mentor other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the relevant specialty area by recognized professional organizations (ANCC, AANP, etc.).
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in the Women’s Health specialty.
- Active, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse.

Compensation And Benefits
- Full-time position: 40 hours per week.
- Competitive salary range: \(50.00 - \)60.00 per hour, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
