Job Overview
As a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, you will deliver a comprehensive range of patient care services tailored to the unique needs of our clientele. Your role will involve providing high-quality healthcare with dignity, compassion, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a full spectrum of nurse practitioner services, ensuring adherence to established protocols and guidelines.
- Facilitate education and training for other staff members, emphasizing evidence-based practices.
- Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic health conditions of patients.
- Promote health maintenance and preventive care through education and counseling.
- Collaborate effectively with a diverse healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Adhere to universal precautions during all patient interactions.
- Engage in staff meetings for ongoing case discussions and professional development.
Required Skills
- Master's degree in nursing.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the relevant specialty area.
- Proficient in women's health specialty procedures, including IUD and Nexplanon insertion/removal, and colposcopy.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in Women’s Health.
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner licensure.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program recognized by ACEN or CCNE.
- Maintenance of credentials in women’s health specialty procedures.
