We’re seeking a Medical Assistant/Receptionist to support our women’s health team in a busy medical office. You’ll coordinate patient interactions—from greeting and scheduling to vitals collection, assisting with exams, specimen handling, and patient education. Strong EMR skills and attention to detail preferred.

Reception Responsibilities

Welcome patients in person and by phone, addressing inquiries professionally
Handle check‑in/out processes, confirm demographics and insurance, collect copays/balances
Manage appointment systems: schedule, confirm, reschedule obstetric, gynecologic, and surgical visits
Maintain medical records accuracy and organize patient charts, forms, referrals
Process billing documentation, insurance verification, and assist with claims
Upkeep front‑office environment—organize supplies, ensure HIPAA compliance

Medical Assistant Responsibilities

Room patients and gather medical history, take vitals (BP, pulse, fetal heartbeat, weight)
Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and replenish supplies between patient visits
Assist providers in procedures such as Pap smears, IUD insertions, colposcopies, ultrasounds, etc.
Call patients with lab results or provider instructions, schedule follow-up or referrals

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

8 hour shift

Monday to Friday
