Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional medical assistant/ medical receptionist to join our OB-GYN team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for rooming patients and prepping charts for the providers and performing basic vital signs. This candidate will also be responsible for cleaning/sterilizing instruments. This candidate will also assist with various administrative tasks, including documentation review, scheduling appointments, and faxing among other duties.

Responsibilities

Rooming patients.
Performing basic vital signs.
Assisting providers with minor procedures.
Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
Schedule appointments
Perform documentation review to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Handle front desk operations, including managing office supplies and equipment.
Support medical office management tasks as needed, ensuring efficient workflow within the office.

Qualifications

Knowledge of basic vital signs
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Able to travel between 2 office locations (located within 15 mins of each other)
Bilingual preferred but not necessary
