Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expernice in medical office collections and billing. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.

Duties

Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable ledgers.
Prepare and send out invoices to clients in a timely manner.
Manage collections on overdue accounts while maintaining professional phone etiquette.
Calling and collecting of balances with patients timely
Review and resolve discrepancies in billing or payment issues.
Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and coding (ICD-10) when applicable.
Perform basic accounting functions including debits, credits, and general math calculations.
Negotiate payment arrangements with clients as necessary.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate billing information is maintained.
Assist in preparing reports related to accounts receivable as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles is preferred.
Knowledge of medical collection practices is a plus for those working within healthcare settings.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
