Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Doula to provide support to individuals during pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as excellent patient service skills. As a Doula, you will play a crucial role in helping families navigate the childbirth experience with confidence and care.

Responsibilities

Provide emotional and physical support to clients throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum journey.
Assist clients in developing birth plans that align with their preferences and needs.
Educate clients on childbirth processes, pain management techniques, and newborn care.
Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to guide clients through labor stages effectively.
Offer continuous support during labor, including comfort measures such as breathing techniques (inhale) and positioning.
Conduct patient assessments to monitor progress and ensure the well-being of both mother and baby.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to care.
Provide resources for postpartum recovery and newborn care education.

Experience

Previous experience or training as a Doula is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pregnancy and childbirth is beneficial.
Demonstrated ability in patient service with excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to childbirth is highly valued.
A compassionate demeanor with the ability to remain calm under pressure is crucial for this role.
