About the Role

We are seeking experienced and motivated Phlebotomists to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting patients on their fertility journey by performing specialised blood collections and working closely with the laboratory and clinical teams.

You will thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and contribute your skills to ensure timely, accurate, and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform venepuncture and collect specialised fertility-related blood and specimen samples
Process samples and coordinate with the diagnostics laboratory
Deliver excellent patient care with empathy and professionalism
Maintain accurate documentation and data entry
Manage stock control and maintain clean, safe collection areas
Collaborate with clinicians, nurses, and laboratory staff to ensure seamless patient experience
Work independently and within a team while managing multiple priorities
Ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety and infection control guidelines

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection
Minimum 1 year phlebotomy/venepuncture experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Basic computer literacy and clerical experience
Flexibility to work across multiple IVFA collection sites in Sydney

Desirable

A current driver’s licence
Previous experience in a fertility or women’s health setting (advantageous but not essential)
