Job Title: Registered Nurse – Obstetrics (OB)
Location: Billings, MT 59101
Assignment Type: 3+ Months (Possible Extension)

Shift: 12-hour Nights

Job Summary:

The Obstetrics RN provides comprehensive nursing care for patients in the OB unit, ensuring safe and effective care throughout the perinatal experience. This role involves patient assessment, care planning, therapeutic interventions, and collaboration with the healthcare team to optimize maternal and newborn outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for OB patients.
Provide health teaching, counseling, and support to patients and families.
Administer medications, therapies, and treatments in alignment with physician orders and standards of care.
Monitor and document patient condition, progress, and response to treatment.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Float to other units as needed based on competency and hospital requirements.
Adhere to facility policies, safety standards, and professional nursing guidelines.
