We are seeking a full time Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy, growing OB/GYN practice. We are searching for a bright, friendly, motivated individual who must have compassion for patients, along with excellent customer service skills and multitasking abilities. Professionalism is a must.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet and welcome patients
Check-in/check-out
Maintenance of patient's chart: Patient demographics, billing information, copy photo I.D. and insurance card, obtain necessary policy and consent form signatures
Collect patient payments and assist with patient questions regarding billing and insurance payments
Schedule patient appointments
Answer multi-line phones and address patient questions in a professional manner
Take complete and accurate messages
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as scanning, photocopying, faxing, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
Proven work experience as a receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role

Professional attitude and appearance
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent computer skills and experience with electronic medical records
Multitasking and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent required'
