Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Midwife to join our compassionate team at Pueblo Community Health Center. In this role, you will provide comprehensive prenatal, labor, and postpartum care to expectant mothers, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety for both mothers and infants. Your expertise will be vital in supporting our mission to deliver accessible healthcare to our diverse community.

Responsibilities

Provide prenatal care and education to expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy.
Assist in labor and delivery processes, ensuring safe and effective practices.
Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences.
Manage postpartum care for mothers and newborns, including pain management and breastfeeding support.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient interactions.

Requirements

Certification as a Midwife required.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to childbirth.
Experience in labor delivery settings preferred.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
Ability to develop care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Basic understanding of medical office procedures is beneficial.
