We are looking for a bright, energetic, and enthusiastic person to fill this Monday-Friday (28-32 hours/wk) front desk position as you will be the first person patients see when they come to our office. You will have direct contact with patients, providers and other staff. Facilitating patient flow into and through the practice would be your primary responsibility.

Other responsibilities of the position:

Interact with potential, new and current patients and other healthcare providers via phone and email.
Completing patient check-in and check-out including scheduling upcoming appointments, insurance and demographics verification.
Handling collection of patient payments.
Maintaining confidentiality and operating within HIPAA regulations.
Creating and maintaining patient charts.
Ensuring clean and safe environment for patients.
Performing other duties as needed by the practice

Requirements of the position:

Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative setting.
Task driven with the ability to prioritize and organize.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Knowledge of computers and electronic medical records.
Desire to learn and grow.

2+ year experience within the healthcare field preferred but willing to work with the right person.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 36 per week
