Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Office Specialist to join our team in a dynamic clinic environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front office operations, ensuring smooth communication between patients and medical staff, and maintaining accurate medical records. This role is crucial in providing exceptional patient care and support within our medical or dental clinic.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and answer patient inquiries.
Maintain and organize medical records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
Utilize Meditech or similar software for efficient record management and appointment scheduling.
Assist with filing and retrieving patient documents as needed.
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
Support office management tasks, including inventory management of office supplies.
Perform basic medical coding as required for billing purposes.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a clinic or medical office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical records management and office procedures.
Proficiency in using phone systems and computer software, including Meditech.
Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
Knowledge of dental clinic operations is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
