We are looking for an ASCP certified lab technician with 3+ years of experience in immunoanalyzer operation (we run a Tosoh). The candidate will have many independent responsibilities. The candidate will be responsible for running and QC’ing the immunoanalyzer daily and producing timely clinical results, as well as running scheduled controls on the immunoanalyzer. Troubleshooting capabilities for immunoanalyzer issues are required. The candidate will also become proficient in performing manual semen analyses in his/her first couple of weeks, and will be responsible for performing 2-8 semen preps/analyses per day. The candidate will be expected to run the lab with initiative and independence, but will always have access to our lab supervisor for assistance with all tasks. The candidate will be fully trained by our lab supervisor for all required tasks. Over time and if qualified the candidate may begin to be trained in basic embryologic principles and tasks, and may be used to help in our IVF laboratory.
