Registered Nurse – Part-Time – SATURDAYS - GYN and Abortion care – NO OVERNIGHTS, NO HOLIDAYS, NO CALL starting rate $44-$48 per hour

Bilingual strongly preferred

Part-Time hours available Saturdays at Hartford GYN Center, a state licensed family planning clinic located In Bloomfield, CT specializing in high quality gynecology and abortion care for over 40 years. We are active members of the Abortion Care Network and accredited by the National Abortion Federation.

Our team welcomes committed, intelligent, experienced caregivers with a strong work ethic and a sense of humor who enjoy working with diverse populations.

Responsibilities include (Experience in one or more preferred):

Pre-procedure medical assessment
Recovery Room nursing
Participating in training of student nurses
Assisting in the education of practitioners in abortion care
Contributing to various research programs

The ideal candidate must possess:

Strong communication skills
Excellent patient care skills
Basic computer skills (EHR experience a plus!)
Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
Active Connecticut RN license
IV Insertion experience preferred
Bilingual candidates preferred, but not required. Staff members who speak more than one language interpret for non-English speaking patients and their loved ones throughout their experience
