About the Role: The Clinical Support Specialist (CSS) will be an SRS product expert, and a benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) Care Pathway expert. The CSS will also be a UroCuff test implementation specialist responsible for running clinical tests (Urocuff and EP1) in targeted urology practices within a defined geography.
Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of the urology practices BPH protocol.
- Become an SRS product and clinical expert and a highly effective clinical trainer.
- Establish key partner relationships with clients’ BPH support and/or clinical staff, including physicians, APP’s, nurses, medical assistants, navigators and front office personnel.
- Lead patient education campaigns in client offices.
- Implement clinical testing days in predetermined offices and perform UroCuff and EP1 (non-invasive pressure flow tests) in a clinical setting. This will include but may not be limited to:
- Preparing patients for their UroCuff test in a professional and caring manner.
- Conducting UroCuff and EP1 tests according to established protocols.
- Operating UroCuff and EP1 equipment, ensuring proper function and adherence to instructions for use.
- Documenting results accurately and transmit findings to supervising physician or clinical staff.
- Educating patients about the testing process, answer their questions and help them feel at ease throughout the procedure.
- Ensuring test results are accurately processed and shared throughout the client’s standard documentation channels.
- Collaborating with the clinical and sales teams to support training efforts as needed.
- Assisting with scheduling, administrative tasks, and reporting as required.
- Perform customer clinical reviews when appropriate.
- Leverage procedure data from our systems demonstrating product and clinical use of SRS technologies with physicians and key clinical staff.
- Maintain a current and accurate database of physician/staff and practice details and activities.
- Manage expenses appropriately via established SRS guidelines.
- Communicate with sales and marketing, sharing insights and knowledge that will help the company perform at a high level.

- Actively participate in and contribute to regional meetings and team calls to share clinical insights.
- Take an active role in the development and improvement of the CSS role to enhance customer experience and more efficiently implement SRS technologies and pathways.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (advanced education in related area of study preferred)
- Two years’ experience working in or selling into a clinical office environment OR completion of a medical sales or clinical training program
Preferred Qualifications:
- Clinical licensure preferred.
- Experience Demonstrated ability to train others including physicians, nurses and patients.
- Clinically knowledgeable, possesses knowledge of medications, devices, urologic diagnostics and procedures.

- Excellent verbal and interpersonal relationship skills, including ability to effectively communicate with physicians, nurses and PA’s as well as with patients.

Physical Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation and an ability to travel within the defined geography on a daily basis
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Legibly writing and communicating instructions and schedules.
- Educating physicians and staff on the intricacies of SRS products prior to and during procedures.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Overnight travel required.
