Panhandle OBGYN is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing team.

Panhandle Obstetrics & Gynecology is a growing group practice with a common goal—excellence in women’s healthcare. We have a caring staff that is committed to our patients’ welfare.

Monday – Thursday, 8am-5pm

Friday – 8am-12pm

As the Medical Assistant you will perform the following duties

-Welcome patients and obtain medical histories from patients
-Verify patient information
-Prepares patient for examination
-Assist doctors during examinations and procedures
-Perform routine testing such as blood pressure tests, weight, etc.

Qualifications:

-Excellent Patient Care skills
-Medical Assistant certification
-1 year experience preferred
-BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
-Ability to effectively communicate with both patients and fellow staff members
-Proficient computer skills
-Bilingual is a plus!

Ob/Gyn experience preferred.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
