New Jersey’s academic health center, Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) takes an integrated approach to educating students, providing clinical care, and conducting research, all with the goal of improving human health. Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Research Teaching Specialist III for the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Health at the New Jersey Medical School.
Conducts research in gynecologic cancer health equity with emphasis on statistical analysis and data management. Supports the Principal Investigator with data analysis, study design, and data dissemination.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Assists the Principal Investigator (PI) and research team with the design, planning, and implementation of studies, including the development of data management and statistical methodologies.
- Compiles and presents statistical data with appropriate conclusions and recommendations; prepares reports, tables, figures, and other data presentation materials.
- Develops and implements data collection systems and statistical analyses to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and quality in research outcomes.
- Interprets and analyzes research data using advanced statistical techniques and summarizes findings for dissemination and reporting.
- Assists in the preparation of grant applications and related materials to support the funding of research activities.
- Establishes and maintains organized records, files, and databases necessary for research documentation and compliance.
