Lead the future of women’s health in one of Queensland’s most progressive regional centres. Central Queensland Health is seeking an accomplished Consultant to provide strategic and clinical leadership as Clinical Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Gladstone Hospital.
You will oversee a skilled multidisciplinary team delivering maternity, obstetric, and gynaecological care across Gladstone and surrounding communities. The role combines executive responsibility with 0.5 FTE clinical practice and offers the opportunity to influence system-wide innovation and sustainability across our networked O&G services, including Rockhampton, Emerald, and rural facilities.
We’re looking for a collaborative and forward-thinking leader who brings extensive experience in clinical governance, quality improvement, and workforce development. You will champion safety and evidence-based care while fostering an environment of continuous learning, research, and professional growth.
Applicants must hold a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Australian Medical Council is essential.
This is a three year appointment with the option to extend, offering a competitive remuneration package (up to AUD $576,000 p.a.), professional development allowances, and relocation support.
