The Section of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group, is seeking a Physician Assistant.

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including obtaining detailed medical histories and performing physical examinations.

Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests in alignment with patient health concerns and clinical protocols.

Prescribe appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments based on patient needs.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and orders.

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of patient medical records and documentation.

Provide follow-up care and health maintenance for established patients, adhering to protocols developed in collaboration with supervising physicians.

Communicate effectively with supervising physicians, patients, and their families regarding patient care and treatment plans.

Collaborate with healthcare providers and practice staff to identify and manage appropriate patients for care management.

Offer ambulatory coverage for established patients to support the expansion of new patient appointment slots within the practice.

Provide clinical coverage for post-operative and follow-up patients on days when supervising physicians are attending to hospital duties.

Work collaboratively with physicians during clinic hours to support patient care and workflow.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education Required: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. NOTE: Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies accepted based on terminal degree requirements at time of graduation.

Experience Required: None required.

Certification/Licenses/Registration: Current license as a Physician Assistant by the State of Texas Physician Assistant Board. Specialty certification as required by department. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
