AWAHS is looking for a Victorian MCH Nurse with qualifications in Maternal and Child Health Nursing to work with mothers and children across our Aboriginal health service and local community in Albury Wodonga.
This position is based in Wodonga.
You would work within the Victorian Aboriginal Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Program providing culturally sensitive, comprehensive, and integrated community-based child and family health nursing services to Aboriginal children 0 – 5 years and families within the Albury Wodonga area.
You will be flexible in your delivery approach within the program and the KAS consulting framework.
As the Maternal and Child Health Nurse, you will be an enabler to families on how they access services and receive culturally safe and responsive maternal and child health care.You will be responsible for offering a range of quality support programs and activities, as well as being part of and working with the multidisciplinary teams within AWAHS.
As an accredited Nurse Immuniser you will also support the childhood immunisation program at AWAHS. Come and work with a culturally-focused health organisation for the local Aboriginal community.
