Pacific Fertility is hiring a Casual Registered Nurse - Peri-Operative or PARR located at our Edmonton location. This is a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care during surgical and procedural interventions within a fertility clinic setting. This position requires a blend of clinical competence, attention to detail, and compassionate communication to support patients throughout their surgical experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

Assist physicians during OR procedures and ensure a safe, sterile, and efficient surgical environment.
Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
Adhere to and uphold all OR protocols, policies, and procedures in alignment with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain strict compliance with infection prevention and control measures.
Participate in regular audits and quality improvement initiatives related to OR procedures and patient care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support seamless patient care and procedural outcomes.

Clinical and Patient Care Duties:

Demonstrate clinical competency in all patient interactions, maintaining sensitivity and professionalism throughout the care process.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:

Must have at least 3 years of nursing experience
Must have Peri-operative or PARR experience
Experience working in an women’s health or reproductive environment is an asset.
Bachelor's degree in nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate.
