Responsibilities:
- Manage daily clinic operations, including phone calls, emails, scheduling, setting up spaces for prenatal/postpartum groups.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, ensuring patient confidentiality and that all client information is handled securely using approved clinic systems.
- Manage midwife inquiries promptly, demonstrating effective communication skills. Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing tasks to ensure seamless workflow and optimal patient care delivery.
- Help manage inventory operations, including managing stock of office supplies, medications and equipment, and communicating with remote MOA for efficient ordering. Assemble home birth/medication kits as needed.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and compassionate manner, including escalating concerns as needed.
- Responsible for general upkeep of the clinic environment, including tasks such as emptying trash, watering plants, and ensuring overall tidiness to create a welcoming and organized space for our clients.
Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare administration, business management, or related fields strongly preferred.
- Proficiency or willing to train in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Basic computer proficiency and printing/scanning operations necessary.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrates a passion for women's health and the birthing process, driven by a commitment to providing personalized care to new and expectant families.
- DEI and/or sensitivity training for work with IBPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ people an asset
