Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Andrology Supervisor located in Houston, TX. The Andrology Supervisor will oversee daily andrology and chemistry laboratory operations, manage and train laboratory staff, and ensure quality control and compliance with regulatory guidelines. The role involves conducting and interpreting laboratory tests, maintaining proper documentation, and collaborating closely with physicians, clinical teams, and administrative staff. The Supervisor will also play a key role in maintaining and improving laboratory testing.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of andrology and chemistry laboratory practices, laboratory techniques, and quality control standards
- Hands-on experience in conducting, analyzing, and interpreting andrology and chemistry testing
- Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and mentor laboratory staff
- Proficiency in maintaining compliance with laboratory regulatory policies and procedures
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with medical and administrative teams
- TS certification in andrology is highly desirable but not required
- Previous experience in a clinical andrology and chemistry is required
