🔍 About the Role
We are seeking a highly qualified Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynecology with sub-specialization in Fetal Medicine to join our dynamic women’s health team in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate is passionate about high-risk pregnancy care, advanced fetal diagnostics, and delivering exceptional maternal–fetal outcomes. You will work in a modern, patient-focused facility equipped with advanced fetal medicine technology and supported by a multidisciplinary team.
✨ Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical care in maternal–fetal medicine and high-risk obstetrics.
- Perform advanced fetal assessments, including:
- Early anomaly scans
- Nuchal translucency (NT) scans
- Fetal growth assessments
- Doppler velocimetry
- Targeted anomaly scans
- Manage complex pregnancies in collaboration with neonatology, radiology, and other specialties.
- Counsel patients and families on fetal conditions, prenatal diagnosis, and treatment pathways.
- Develop individualized care plans for high-risk maternal and fetal cases.
- Participate in emergency obstetric care when required.
- Maintain accurate, detailed clinical documentation in compliance with DOH standards.
- Contribute to departmental audits, quality improvement projects, and evidence-based protocols.
- Support development and expansion of fetal medicine services within the department.
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
- Specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBGYN):
- MD / MS / DNB / MRCOG (or equivalent recognized qualification)
- Sub-specialty training in Fetal Medicine, such as:
- Fellowship in Fetal Medicine / High-Risk Obstetrics
- Maternal–Fetal Medicine Fellowship
- National Board Fellowship (FNB) in Fetal Medicine
- FMF-accredited or equivalent fetal medicine training program
- Valid DOH Specialist OBGYN license or DOH Eligibility Letter.
- Minimum 2–3 years of post-specialization experience, preferably in fetal medicine or high-risk obstetrics.
- Strong skills in fetal ultrasound, anomaly screening, and managing complex pregnancies.
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
