Medical Receptionist

Dynamic GYN/Surgical office located in White Plains, NY seeking a FT Medical Receptionist. This is a patient focused practice with the needs of the patient a top priority. The staff works as a team in order to render the best patient care.

Responsibilities of the receptionist include but are not limited to the following:

**Managing high volume of phone calls to make appointments and answer patient questions

**Greeting and processing the patients

**Seeing the big picture and acting accordingly

**Sending medical records

**Verifying of insurance

**Submitting electronic Rx

**Basic billing

**Interacting with patients with care and compassion

Computer skills are a must

Must be fluent in Spanish

Must work all Saturdays with a weekday off

Some GYN medical background is a plus

Salary is competitive based on experience with a range of $20/hr to $22/hr
