Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Watertown, New York
Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: 12-hour varying shifts | Status: Full-time
Radius Rule: 60 miles
Requirements:
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography
- Minimum one year of imaging experience with specific training in Medical Sonography
- Vascular and obstetric experience required
- Registered or registry-eligible with ARDMS
- Current BCLS certification
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency with major sonography equipment and software
- Must comply with on-call requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and exercise sound judgment
Overview:
Performs high-quality ultrasound exams, including vascular and OB studies, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety. Maintains professionalism, flexibility, and confidentiality while contributing to efficient departmental operations.
