Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Atlanta, GA, for a Nurse Midwife. The Nurse Midwife will perform midwifery care in a hospitalist role. Provide antepartum evaluation, intrapartum care of low and high risk obstetrical patients and compete rounds on postpartum patients. Work as part of a team to care for patients across a broad range and scope of practice.

Qualifications

Proficiency in prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological care
Strong clinical decision-making, diagnosis, and patient management skills
Exceptional communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff
Active certification as a Nurse Midwife and valid licensure to practice in Georgia
Proven ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
Master’s degree in Nurse Midwifery or equivalent from an accredited program
Experience in an OB/GYN or women’s health setting is preferred
