Position: Registered Nurse (IVF Coordinator)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (*IN OFFICE Position*)

The IVF Nurse position is integral to our practice and requires working closely with patients, physicians, and other staff.
POSITION SUMMARY:
As an IVF Nurse, you will play a vital role within our fertility care team, working closely with Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), Medical Assistants, and other staff to support and implement individualized fertility treatment plans. This position is a full time in office position and is central to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients going through their fertility journey. This position includes participation in a call rotation, requiring one week of on-call duty approximately every five weeks.

Collaborate with providers to develop and follow through with treatment plans for patients.

Coordinate and communicate all infertility diagnostic testing and treatment plans with patients.

Educate patients and their families on infertility treatments, reproductive endocrine disorders, individualized plans, medications, test results, and treatment calendars.

Perform or aid in infertility-related procedures, such as intrauterine inseminations and other necessary examinations or surgical interventions.

Log patient interactions and treatment plan updates in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to maintain the accuracy of recorded information.

Early morning, weekend call and after hours call flexibility may be required.

Collaborate with physicians and other team members in the clinic, to ensure effective patient communication, quality care, and best outcomes are achieved.

Creates effective working relationships and lines of communication with administration, support staff, patients, and their families.

Respond appropriately in emergency situations by following established clinic protocols, assisting staff and patients while remaining calm, communicating effectively, and properly documenting all such events.

Demonstrates knowledge in and abides by all legal issues, including HIPPA privacy rules and risk management procedures when dealing with patients.

Additional responsibilities may be required as determined by the Practice Administrator or Medical Director.
Qualifications:

Women’s health experience in the role of a nurse is preferred, but other candidates will be considered as well.

Registered Nurse with current UT license in good standing.
