Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in various settings including nursing homes, emergency rooms, and primary care. This role requires excellent clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to providing high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options
- Perform diagnostic tests such as sonography and laboratory work when required
- Assist with pain management strategies for patients experiencing discomfort
- Manage ventilator support for patients as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Lift and transfer patients safely while adhering to safety protocols
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Experience in Med Surg or OB/GYN preferred not required
- Proficiency in pain management techniques and OR procedures
- Strong knowledge of primary care practices and patient assessment skills
- Ability to perform sonography and laboratory tests is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make sound clinical decisions under pressure
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical nursing practices

Pay: $34.50 - $37.00 per hour
