Gonzales Healthcare Systems has an immediate opening for the position of Therapy Services Record Technician. Duties include: Organizing and maintaining patient records; auditing records for required elements; sending and receiving clinical documents to/from physician; placing requests for additional documentation as needed; ensuring that required documents are present and signed; scanning documents into current records system. The Tech also maintains organized filing system and works closely with the HIM and Billing departments to process claims as needed. They also perform other non-patient care tasks as requested by the Department Director or the Lead Therapist. Full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.
