Medical Director of Global Clinical Operations – Women’s Health & Reproductive Medicine
Location: Spain, EU
Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000 plus bonuses
Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic, dynamic, and highly organized Medical Director of Global Clinical Operations to lead and manage international clinical studies focused on our IVF/IVM product Fertilo. This role will be pivotal in driving the success of global clinical trials and post-market surveillance studies across key markets including Europe, Australia, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia.
The ideal candidate is an infertility specialist medical doctor, self-starter with deep clinical management experience in clinical research, strong leadership capability, and a passion for innovation in reproductive health. Candidates with in vitro maturation (IVM) and a proven track record in clinical operations within pharma or biotech will be strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Improving product adoption at external partner clinics and study sites
- Work with the internal team at Gameto and our external partner clinics to ensure success in Fertilo adoption. This work will consistent of virtual meetings as well as on site visits to clinics internationally and in the US, including:
- Advising PIs on patient selection
- Advising PIs on appropriate application of minimal stimulation protocol
- Troubleshooting with PIs to improve egg yield and egg quality
- Working with centers to perform best practices in embryo transfers
- Participate in publications, conference presentations, and scientific communications to strengthen product credibility.
Scientific & Strategic Leadership
- Work directly with the CSO to design new clinical studies and trials to further expand product development. This work will include virtual meetings with internal team members at Gameto, including:
- Advising and developing protocols for advanced maternal age patients
- Advising and developing protocols for PCOS and hyper responder patients
- Refining stimulation and monitoring protocols
- Improving company resources for clinics and physicians
- Development and design of clinical and research studies
Qualifications
- Education:
- Medical Degree in Obstetrics/Gynecology and/or reproductive endocrinologist
- Infertility treatment provider for IVF services
- Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and clinical management skills.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, motivate teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Ability to travel on site to australia, the middle east, Latin America, and south east asia and take calls in these timezones when needed
- Fluent in English; additional languages (spanish) are a plus.
